We’re proud to share that ICS.AI’s pioneering work in transforming UK public services through artificial intelligence was recognised in Parliament this week.

During parliamentary proceedings, our successful partnership with Derby City Council was highlighted as a national example of how AI can deliver measurable impact for local government. MP Luke Murphy specifically cited ICS.AI’s role in helping the council save millions of pounds through AI-driven digital transformation.

"The government is rightly focused on driving public sector reform through the smarter use of technology," Murphy stated. "...we've seen what's possible - ICS.AI has already helped Derby City Council save millions of pounds using AI..."

In response, the Secretary of State for the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, Peter Kyle, praised the broader contribution of British AI firms to the country’s productivity, reaffirming the government's commitment to leveraging homegrown technology to improve services and reduce costs across public sector institutions:

"This great work...will contribute to the productivity not just of local authorities around the country, but also to the benefit of our entire economy," .

This recognition is a major milestone for ICS.AI and reflects our growing leadership in the AI-for-public-sector space. Our work with Derby City Council is one of many examples demonstrating how artificial intelligence can help local authorities increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve citizen services at scale.

Martin Neale, CEO of ICS.AI, commented:

"This government has shown real leadership in AI in the public sector which we believe is creating an opportunity for the UK to lead the world with AI Public Sector adoption".

Headquartered in Basingstoke and operating nationwide, ICS.AI is proud to be at the forefront of this transformation. Our AI solutions are currently being used by councils, universities, and other public bodies across the UK to accelerate digital efficiency and deliver better value for taxpayers.

This parliamentary recognition underscores not only our achievements but also the government’s growing focus on British AI as a driver of public sector innovation. We look forward to deepening our collaboration with policymakers and partners as we continue to build a smarter, more efficient public sector.
