Celebrating Partnership and Innovation at the Here for Derby Awards 2025

Last week, ICS.AI was proud to sponsor and attend the Here for Derby Awards - Derby City Council’s annual celebration of the incredible people who go above and beyond to make a difference across the city.

Recognising the Best of Team Derby

First launched in 2019, the Here for Derby Awards were created to recognise the successes and achievements of Team Derby - the dedicated colleagues who deliver essential services and drive positive change in the community.

Now firmly established as a highlight in the Council’s calendar, the awards shine a spotlight on excellence, innovation, and teamwork across a wide range of categories, including Outstanding Team, Community Hero, Delivering for Derby, and Working Smarter.

This year’s event, held at Pride Park Stadium on 10 October, brought together colleagues, partners, and leaders from across the council to celebrate achievements, share stories, and recognise those who make Derby a better place to live and work.

As long-term partners of Derby City Council, ICS.AI was honoured to support this year’s event and celebrate the inspiring individuals who drive improvement and innovation within the council.

We were especially proud to see the Digital Development Team at Derby City Council, in partnership with ICS.AI, receive the #TeamDerby Award 🏆 for their outstanding work on the Council’s AI Programme.

Over the past three years, this partnership has delivered transformative AI-powered solutions - including Darcie, Ali, and Perrie - which have enhanced resident engagement, improved workflows, and delivered measurable financial efficiencies. These digital helpers are now helping the council to streamline operations, resolve queries faster, and deliver better outcomes for residents and colleagues alike.
