With the support of the COVID-19 skill, citizens can access up to date national and local COVID-19 related information from trusted sources such as WHO or GOV.UK

In late March 2020, Cheshire West and Chester Council saw a 500% increase in requests to their Chatbot Digital Assistant AIDA for information. With the support of the new agent, Cheshire West and Chester Council are able to help hundreds more residents with the support of AI.

 

The Coronavirus AI skill that ICS.AI have developed (which Cheshire West and Chester Council are currently using) has a priority store of hundreds of Coronavirus voice ready answers and can fall back on multiple trusted and curated Coronavirus knowledge sources such as the council’s own website, the World Health Organisation, NHS 111, and Public health England.
